Dickinson Historical Society & Museum
This museum consists of the Dickinson Railroad Depot and the League City Railroad Depot. Includes exhibits and community meeting space.

Friendswood Schools Museum
The 1939 Friendswood School, opened in 2016 as Friendswood Schools Museum. It is filled with historical photographs and artifacts. Community meeting room available.

Frank. J. Brown Heritage Museum
Friendswood is the only existing town in Texas started as a Quaker colony. The Frank J. Brown Heritage Museum, honors founders Frank and Mary Jane Brown.

Hitchcock Heritage Museum
Inside the former home of Miss Genevieve Miller, founder of the city’s first library, it features exhibits on local history, WWII Blimp Base, and Camp Wallace. Additionally, the Heritage Cottage can also be toured.

Santa Fe Old School Museum
The towns of Alta Loma, Algoa, and Arcadia consolidated to establish Santa Fe High School. The Old School Museum is in that historic building. The museum features a large collection of school and military memorabilia.

Texas City Museum
Local history exhibits include the 1947 Disaster, USS Westfield Civil War cannon, and more. The Galveston County Model Railroad Club train layouts, open each Saturday, are on the second floor of the museum.
The Texas City Museum also manages The 1867 Settlement, the only black community in the county formed during Reconstruction.

West Bay Common School, League City
West Bay Common School No. 13 was a Chambers County one room school, built in 1898. The League City Historical Society moved the building to its current location. Buildings include the school house, barn museum, and ice house/barbershop. Reservations & fee required for group tours and classroom sessions.
